Month 12: Makar Sankranti

In this edition, we cover another Hindu harvest festival, known as Makar Sankranti or Mattu Pongal. We feature artists Dharini Bysani and Rama Panchapagesan, who each selected one of their original artworks, and found stories through their research about this festivity. We also feature an interview with sisters Anugraha and Rasika Ganesh, who along with family organized a Madhubani art workshop for students at the Shastri School in India.
