The Circle of Life

“My painting, "The Circle of Life," is a Madhubani-style mandala, where the circular design symbolizes the universe, balance, and the eternal cycle of life. At the center is a sacred cow, representing motherhood, abundance, and purity. Surrounding it in concentric circles are birds and fish, symbolizing freedom and fertility. At the four corners, pairs of Matsya are shown, which symbolize marital harmony and abundance. In Madhubani art, fish are often seen as signs of good luck, reflecting the belief that their presence brings a harmonious natural environment. Lotus flowers and vines throughout represent purity and spiritual growth.”
