For the IACS annual gala, Milan, the students of Deepti Designs created five concept canvases translating intangible topics such as Resilience, Self-Reflection, Vulnerability, Stepping up together and Community Rising on canvases.

Alumni artist Kavya Selvakumar, teaching artists Vrinda Rathi, Anushka Bains, Creative Voices coordinator Ananya Vaidyaraman and The Beacon editors, Harini Thiagarajan and Anishka Gogoi conducted the focus group study to brainstorm and generate ideas for the canvases.

They populated five idea sketches which would eventually be translated into professional grade paintings on canvases for auction.
